Itasca-Mantrap Education Scholarship
Our communities are powered by the people who live here. That’s why we support local students with scholarships that help them pursue their goals and stay connected to their hometowns. These opportunities encourage learning, leadership and growth. Investing in students today helps build a stronger community tomorrow.
The scholarships are funded through unclaimed capital credits. Minnesota state law allows electric cooperatives to use unclaimed capital credits that remain uncashed for seven years for charitable or educational purposes. This year, Itasca-Mantrap is offering up to five $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors or adults returning to school who are Itasca-Mantrap members or dependents of members.
Scholarships must be received no later than March 31.
